About STRESUPILAMI

Stresupilami was born in 2016 from the need of the choreographer, Chiara Verdecchia, to express freely her own feelings and ideologies through choreography, dance and theater. 

During her artistic and professional training Chiara Verdecchia undertakes a totally eclectic path, starting from the artistic gymnastics up to the contemporary dance, through painting, theater and studying piano. She prefers, both as a dancer and as an artist, the multidisciplinary nature, in a unique vision of the whole. And this is the main thrust of Stresupilami, to express a vision through the dancers in their entirety, because first of all they are human beings.

CHIARA VERDECCHIA

She was born in Perugia June 22, 1985. She started her career as an agonist in artistic gymnastics since the age of eight years, and she took part several times in national final competitions. At age seventeen she approached to dance with the teacher Manuela Giulietti, trasforming strenght and flexibility tipical of gymnastics into dance.

She have been constantly studying Hip Hop, Modern, Contemporary and Theater dance all over the world especially with italian, israelian and american renowned choreographers, like Adi Salant (co-director Batsheva Dance Company), Bruce Michelson (repertory Itzik Galili and Jiří Kylián), Mauro Astolfi, Idan Sharabi, Bruno Guillore (associate Director Hofesh Shechter Company), Eugenio Buratti, Enzo Celli, Omid Ighani, Max Stone (Steps NY).

From 2015 she begins to create installations and performances for events and evenings of photography, including "Fotografie, Danza ed altre storie" of renowned photographer Raoul Iacometti, winner of the "Author of the Year" in 2016. From 2016 she begins to feel the need to express her own feelings and ideologies through choreography, dance and theater, and founded STRESUPILAMI.

CARIM DI CASTRO

He approaches to dance when he was twelve, starting his studies in an experimental center for contemporary dance in Isernia. Then he entered in Accademia Nazionale di Danza, so he moved to Rome. He studied with teachers as Z. Prebill, F. Grieco, J. Fontano, D. Verga and others and he worked with international choreographers such as A.Boriello, I. Ivo, W. McGregor. He performed with the Accademia Nazionale di Danza in many shows in Italy and abroad and he graduated in 2011. In the same year he joined NoGravity Dance Company directed by Emiliano Pellissari, with whom he performed both in the major Italian theaters and in Europe (Russia, France, Spain). Later he joined the company Astra Roma Ballet directed by Diana Ferrara (choreographies of Milena Zullo and Enrico Morelli). Meanwhile he collaborates and experiments with emerging contemporary dance companies. From 2013 he works with the company eVolution dance theater directed by Anthony Heinl, performing in Italian and international tours (Brazil, Israel), as well as representations for Disney Cruise Line and Costa Cruises. 

CHIARA MORCIANO

She was born in Rome in 1990. She began her studies with gymnastics at a competitive level. Later she directs towards classical dance, studying with qualified teachers at the AND  directed by Paola Tenaglia and Grazia Grosso, and modern, attending professional courses at the ArteMidanza directed by Barabara Raselli. Then she refines her technique with international teachers: Alessandro Nahman, Bruce Michelson, Anthony Heinl, Joseph Fontano, Carl Portal, Beatrice Buffin, Nadessja Casavecchia, Alexandre Stepkine, Mirelle Radwan, Elizabeth Terabust, Vinicio Mainini, Simonetta Secci, Claudia Rossi, Cristina Gangalanti, Roberta Fontana, Eugenio Buratti, Masako Matsushita and Mamalia Dor. 

Professional experiences and works:

From 2009 to 2010 she took part in Kuon ganjo Dance Company directed by Alessandro Nahman, in which she also plays solo roles. In September 2010 she joined eVolution dance theater directed by Anthony Heinl, where she took part in "Firefly" production and international tournèe in China, "Electricity" production and international tournèe, and "Night Garden" production. 

LAVINIA SCOTT

She begins her dance studies at the age of 4 at the Cinzia Salvini's school in Sinalunga, Siena. When she is 15 years old, she is admitted at Centro Studi Coreografici Teatro Carcano, directed by Aldo Masella, in Milan. There she studies with Elena Albano, Max Campagnani, Elena Cipollini, Eugenio De Mello, Analu De Pino, Yelena Lirtchicova, Wan Mei, Margarita Smirnova, Daniele Ziglioli. She obtains her Diploma Accademico in contemporary/modern dance in June 2014. She attends several dance stages and competitions both in Italy and abroad. In September 2014, she joins the eVolution dance theater company of Anthony Heinl.

GABRIELE FARINACCI

He was born in Rome in 1993. He approaches the world of dance at age 10 at A.S. Full Dance with Graziella Di Marco. From 2003 to 2014, the Tap Dance became his professional discipline; he won 20 gold medals at the Italian Championships; 3 gold medals at the European Championships; 7 gold medals, 1 silver and 1 bronze at the World Championships; 8 invitations for television performances; 2 invitations to theatrical performances and a theater season under the direction of Pippo Franco. 

In 2012 he was admitted to the Accademia Nazionale di Danza, where he graduated with honors in 2016. In the years of training at the Accademia Nazionale di Danza he deepens Classical technique with teachers Silvia Obino and Nicoletta Pizzariello; while in contemporary he acquires the techniques Graham, Cunningham, Realease and Contact-Improvisation with Alessandra Di Segni, Stefania Brugnolini, Ricky Bonavita and Corinna Anastasio. As a dancer of the Accademia Nazionale di Danza he had the opportunity to dance for choreographers such as Mauro Bigonzetti, Fabrizio Monteverde, Caterina Rago, Lali Ayguade and Roser López Espinosa.

SIMONE GIANCOLA

Inizia i suoi studi di danza all'età di 8 anni. Nel 2007 si trasferisce presso la  scuola di danza "Arabesque" sita in Campobasso dove approfondisce i suoi studi di danza classica e moderna con gli insegnanti: Irene Fratangelo, Barbara Mosca e Victor Litvinov. Ammesso al 5° corso dell'Accademia Nazionale di Danza di Roma, si trasferisce per continuare i suoi studi. Nel corso di questi anni prende parte come corpo di ballo prima, solista e primo ballerino dopo, ai vari spettacoli presentati dalla scuola lavorando con i coreografi: Taina Beryl, Adriana Borriello, Zarko Prebil, Salvatore Capozzi, Roberta Baseggio. 

Partecipa come corpo di ballo alla produzione del musical "Il Gobbo" presso il teatro Savoia di Campobasso.

Lavora presso la compagnia eVolution Dance Theater di Roma per la stagione 2014/15 e 2015/16, sotto la direzione artistica di Anthony Heinl. Porta così in scena spettacoli come "ElectriCity", "Firefly" e "Black&light" nei palcoscenici più importanti, con tournées di grande successo in Italia, Grecia, Brasile, Israele e Germania.

Lavora con Ilir Shaqiri per la realizzazione di due spettacoli in occasione dell'evento Eni 2016.

Per la stagione 2016/2017 lavora a Disneyland Paris come danzatore nel musical "Frozen Sing-Along" e in occasione della celebrazione del 25esimo anniversario.
